Addiction to opioids is very likely if the following kinds of things are happening with you or someone you know:

• ​Difficult to CONTROL yourself when using.
• ​Constant CRAVING for the drug.
• ​COMPULSIVE use of the drug.   This means that suddenly a desire to use is too strong for you to resist.
• ​CONTINUED use of the drug despite the harm (in many ways) you know it is causing you.
